I personally really enjoy Papa Ginos but this location isn't as good as the others. I usually get cheese pizza and split it with a friend and then I sometimes get the cheesy breadsticks. The pizza has a weird flavor and doesnt taste fresh. No flavors from the cheese come through, and they have a cheese blend that makes there pizza what it is. The cheesy breadsticks on the other hand are actually good at this location. The times that I get Papa Ginos is usually around 7-8 pm which is near there closing time. That could maybe be a factor in which this isn't that fresh. Hopefully they get there act together and become the Papa Ginos that I once loved.

I would give the Rustic pizza 3 plus stars---- but I rarely go to Papa Gino's for one reason, they have a terrible what they call a deal policy-- please give me a break--- enough-- buy 2 large get a free small or whatever it is------how about a deal on 2 mediums like Domino's does--- how about a deal on walk in's, I pay the same as getting it delivered -- it's why I rarely go there.check please

Papa Gino's pizza is pretty good considering it's just another chain restaurant . They don't have just pizza they also have some pretty good bread sticks that I get every single time. When you want a nice filling pizza come to papa Gino's

Ordered a large pizza 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni delivered to a near-by hotel. Delivery was very fast. I was able to order easily online. Pizza was fine. Nothing wonderful about it. Crust is a little chewy. Total cost was $17.00 (includes tax and delivery charge) plus tip.

No complaints about Papa Gino's pizza! It's thin, and not very heavy, but 2 or 3 slices will fill you right up. Sometimes pizza has cheese that slides right off, and you're left with cheap, gross sauce on a crust, but Papa Gino's rises far above that. Also, the deals are amazing! I always order a large pizza. Then, you can get 3 extra large pizzas for a reduced price! The staff are nice and helpful. They sometimes bring the pizza to the table!

Absolutely love Papa Gino's! The food was perfect here and timely. The only thing I have issues with are their prices. They've gotten really expensive.

Hey when it comes to chain pizza places that deliver it does not get any better than Papa Gino's I have ordered numerous amount of pizzas from here and have always been more then happy with the product they are leaps and bounds ahead of other fast food pizza spots like dominos and papa johns... Stay away from the pasta dishes though not so good

I stopped going here after I waited 30 minutes for a 5 minute meal deal. Nobody offered anything to rectify the situation and only after I asked was I offered coupons for a free meal next time by the manager. I like the pizza but it's not that great with so many better places in the area.

Every time I order pizza from here I wonder what possessed me to agree to it, but I do. My husband likes it for some reason and gets the random craving. It is a chain so the menu is consistent with other papas around. Quality is inconsistent however. Sometimes you can get a decent pizza, other times you pick it up and say, huh? Did I order a large round slab of dough? The restaurant itself hasn't changed since the 90s, so I can stroll down memory lane when I go and remember running through there as a kid when the pie tasted like pizza.. but these days I prefer to take it to go.

Awful! It's been years since I've ordered from here. It was my go to for a cold Italian sub. The bread used to be fresh and crunchy on the outside. The provolone was assertive and the meats were of quality. This time around it was terrible. The soggy bread was inedible, the cheese had no flavor and the meats were of lesser quality. Never again!
(1)Richard S.
The pizza was not good. It was worse than Totino's pizza. The crust was soggy and flavorless, like a piece of cardboard. The sauce was nothing great. The cheese was covered in grease, a sign of low quality ingredients. Even the Pepsi tasted weird, like diet Pepsi. The people were friendly, which was good. The price was too much for the low quality of the product. We won't be returning.
(2)Samantha S.
Ordered takeout, was told super size for $13.99, was actually $15.99. tasted like cardboard. small italian grinder had mushy bread and did not realize they add $2 for delivery! a pizza and girnder was $28! NOT WORTH IT!!!

For those of you unfamiliar, Papa Gino's is a casual chain pizza restaurant that's been around forever in the New England area (it may exist elsewhere too but I am not sure!). I have been eating at Papa Gino's since I was three years old probably, and in fact, it was my favorite restaurant throughout my youth. When my brother was in town, he insisted on getting a slice of Papa Gino's since they don't exist in D.C. where he lives. Ever since he talked about it, I developed a major craving for it! I probably haven't had Papa Gino's in five years, so on our way home from Newport, we placed a huge takeout order from one of their East Providence locations located right off of the highway. We ordered a large cheese pizza, mozzarella twists, French fries, toasted ravioli, and for my husband, chicken tenders in citrus chipotle sauce. The man on the other end of the line was courteous and professional, and told us it would be ready in twenty minutes (which it was!). For a pizza restaurant, the fries were excellent, even after the ten minute drive home when they had a chance to cool down a bit. I was impressed with how tasty and fresh they were. They weren't thin and puny either, which I appreciated. The mozzarella twists were amazing, considering the fact I am way into greasy mozzarella sticks and have high standards for them! I loved how they were in a twisty shape. The cheese and breading were both very flavorful, and they also fared well after a ten-minute drive home. The marinara sauce is seriously one of the best simple marinara sauces around as well! The toasted raviolis were equally tasty- they tasted just like the mozzarella twists except the cheese in the ravioli was ricotta, not mozzarella, making a more creamy bite. The ravioli were very firm too- in other words they remained "toasted" and did not get soggy at all. The pizza. . . oh the pizza. . . as my brother says, it really is one of the best cheese and sauce combos around. According to my bro, they use a special "three cheese blend" that makes it taste so good- while I can't validate that fact- the cheese is exceptional for take-out pizza! The crust is sturdy but not too thick. Even though it's a chain-- don't be fooled-- the pizza is fresh and comes piping hot! All in all, I think I could eat this every week and not get sick of it. I guess there's a reason why Papa Gino's has been around for so long!

I've had Papa Gino's pizza at multiple locations over the years and usually enjoy the food. However, I can honestly say i will never eat at this particular location ever again and can't recommend anyone else eat here either. I've had pizza here 3-4 times over the last several months and every time they not only got my order wrong but the pizza was either cold or burnt. It's not a particularly complicated order either, I always get a pepperoni pizza, small cheese bread and a drink. What i'm given is just a pizza and always have to inquire about the missing cheese bread. The pizza itself, as I stated earlier, is either completely cold or burnt. I kept going to this location thinking maybe they were having an off day but that clearly wasn't the case here.

I stopped in for a quick bite on my lunch break. It was my first time in this place since high school. The pizza wasn't bad (for what it is) but at $6.47 for two medium sized slices and a medium fountain drink, the value isn't any better than I get in most airports. I won't go back.

Don't be rolling your eyes: yes I know it's an evil chain restaurant. Sorry folks, but even after the 20+ years I've been eating at this location, they still make my favourite pizza of any ma and pa pizza joint, chain restaurant or delivery service I've tried between Pennsylvania, New York city and Boston. A little pathetic? And proud of it! The service has always been A+. Obviously the crew, management and cooks have been switched out and changed during the years but even so, the customer service has always been friendly, prompt and happy to modify any orders. The management is wonderful as well, always friendly. To add, the franchise has been undergoing several major changes and lately, the cooks have even been bringing our food out to the tables for us. Love, love, love it. The food itself? Mr. Gino set the bar for my personal taste in pizza. Notoriously picky, no matter where I go I constantly find myself comparing my pies to theirs. My least favourite pizza is anything slathered in sauce, dough, grease or tasteless mush at the bottom: I'm in love with the thin, the crisp and the flavourful. Papa's is all of the above with zesty sauce, crunchy crust and just the right amount of oil floating over the cheese: not enough to upset my sensitive stomach but just enough to give the cheese that tasty, tasty New England punch. Their fries are thick, deep fried heaven while their hot dogs are the buttery rockets that take me there. In all the years of visiting this location (or any location for that matter), I have never, ever had a poorly made or sloppy order. Sadly, the checkered tables and arcade machines are a memory of the past however their newly updated style was a necessary modernization while the games unfortunately, a minor set back due to difficult times. The location is fabulous, the food delicious and the service always prim-o. I will continue to eat here for as long as I live in RI.
